ABOUT
A lover of music since infancy! Tony Manning has been playing instruments ranging from drums, brass, woodwinds and guitar from early childhood, adding his vocal talent to the mix not long after that. Coming from a long line of professional musicians, Tony performed with school orchestra and jazz band, church choir, and marched with the Mummers in the Ukranian-American String Band all before exiting his teen years.
In his early teens, Tony Manning taught himself to play guitar. It wasn't long before he was jamming with friends and performing with live-bands at local festivals, parties, pubs and venues. By the time Tony turned twenty-one, he had been hired by the regional DJ company, "The Pros" and was spinning vinyl at parties and venues when his band was not performing. After serving in the military and living on the west coast for a quarter-century, where he continued to provide live-music and DJ services, fast-forward to 2013 and beyond, and Tony has been in the South Jersey music scene plying the trade as a solo music performer offering full-band sound and feel and entertaining audiences of all ages!
